Maruti Suzuki will deliver approximately 30,000 vehicles on Dhanteras
Big news for car buyers this festive season. Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to hand over about 30,000 new vehicles on Dhanteras.
The company has seen a strong 36% jump in retail deliveries between Navratri and Dussehra this year.
Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India, said, "We will be delivering approximately 30,000 vehicles today."
Record wholesale growth and 250,000 backlog
October was a record-breaker for Maruti Suzuki, with wholesale numbers hitting an all-time high, up 25% from last year.
Domestic sales grew by 20%, exports soared by 59%, but there is still a backlog of around 250,000 cars waiting to be delivered (almost half are CNG models).
Maruti expects supply issues to ease up starting in January next year, so if you are waiting on your ride, hang in there!
