Porsche Taycan Turbo GT Manthey sets Nurburgring electric executive record
Porsche just set a new Nurburgring lap record for electric executive cars with its Taycan Turbo GT Manthey, finishing in 6:55.533, over nine seconds faster than the previous best.
Test driver Lars Kern said the Manthey Kit made the car feel like "the ultimate track tool" on the Nordschleife, giving him real stability and confidence in the fast sections and when braking.
Taycan Turbo GT hits 979hp
This version packs 979hp in Attack Mode (up from 939hp) and hits a top speed of 311km/h.
Aerodynamic tweaks like bigger rear wings and diffusers boost downforce for better grip, while lightweight wheels and larger brakes help it handle sharp turns.
Plus, it gets some cool visual upgrades (think carbon-fiber vents and wider side skirts) but you can only get this exclusive Manthey package if your Taycan Turbo GT has the Weissach Package.
