Subaru BRZ STI Sport Type RA revealed: Check features

Auto

Subaru just revealed a special BRZ STI Sport Type RA, loaded with race-inspired upgrades and will be showcased at Fuji Speedway during the final round of the Super Taikyu Series this weekend.
Only 300 will be made, and if you want one, you'll need to enter a lottery by November 30.

What about the mechanicals?

This BRZ packs a tuned 2.4L boxer engine and comes standard with a six-speed manual (with shift assist).
It's kitted out with BBS wheels, ZF dampers, Brembo brakes, under spoilers, a carbon rear wing (optional), upgraded muffler, sway bar—the works for driving fans.

How much will it cost?

The base price is ¥4.97 million ($32k) without the rear wing or ¥5.48 million ($35k) with it.
With just 300 cars up for grabs via lottery, this is definitely one for serious enthusiasts who want something rare and track-ready.

Subaru's focus on driving fun is evident in this BRZ

Subaru trimmed engine mass for quicker response and less vibration, reinforced the chassis to reduce flex, and added cooling fins to keep the rear differential happy during hard driving—all aimed at making this limited-edition BRZ even more fun behind the wheel.
