Tata Sierra launched; gifted to women's cricket World Cup champions

Auto

Tata Motors just rolled out the 2025 Sierra SUV and celebrated by gifting one to every player from India's women's cricket World Cup-winning squad.
The gifting event, held at Bombay House, saw Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran liken the team's achievement to the men's landmark 1983 World Cup triumph, calling it a moment that future generations would remember.
Prices for the new Sierra start at ₹11.49 lakh and go up to ₹21.29 lakh.

What's under the hood?

The new Sierra is a mid-size SUV with plenty of space—4,340mm long and a huge 622-liter boot.
You get three engine choices: turbo-petrol (170hp), turbo-diesel (118hp), or NA-petrol, paired with manual, automatic, or dual-clutch gearboxes.

Features that stand out

It packs in Level 2 ADAS for smarter driving, a panoramic sunroof for those chill drives, six airbags for safety, plus a handy 360-degree camera.
The feature set is pretty generous for its price bracket.

How does it stack up?

With pricing aimed right at rivals like Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos—and loaded with tech and safety—the Sierra makes a strong case if you want something fresh in the mid-size SUV crowd.
