Vida VX2 electric scooter hits Indian market

Hero MotoCorp's Vida has dropped the VX2 electric scooter in India, targeting anyone looking for an affordable, practical ride.
There are two variants—Go (₹59,490) and Plus (₹64,990)—if you pick the battery-as-a-service (BaaS) plan; otherwise, they're pricier.
The focus is clearly on making EVs more accessible for everyday use.

TL;DR

Solid range, fast charging, and low running costs

The Go variant gets a 2.2kWh battery with a claimed range of 92km, while the Plus bumps that up to a 3.4kWh battery and up to 142km per charge—pretty solid for city commutes.
Fast charging takes you from zero to 80 percent in about an hour, and running costs are just under Re.1 per km.
You also get handy features like LED headlamps, loads of underseat storage, and on the Plus model—a smart TFT display with navigation and even remote security controls via cloud connectivity.
