Xiaomi's SU7 Ultra shatters Nurburgring record

Auto

Xiaomi's SU7 Ultra has officially set a new lap record for production electric cars at the legendary Nurburgring Nordschleife, clocking in at 7:04.957 minutes—faster than the Rimac Nevera.
The car even hit a wild top speed of 349km/h on one of the track's longest straights.

SU7 Ultra is a lot more affordable than you think

Packing 1,525hp and built with a carbon fiber-aluminum chassis, the SU7 Ultra still manages to be street legal despite weighing 2359kg and rolling on Pirelli P Zero 5 tires.
At around $74,000, it's making high-speed EVs a lot more accessible—and proving that sustainable rides can be seriously fast and fun.
