#AirtelThanks: Airtel offers free Netflix, ZEE5 subscription to select customers

Airtel has kicked off its #AirtelThanks reward program offering exclusive benefits to loyal mobile customers. Under this, customers contributing a monthly average revenue of Rs. 100 or more will be entitled to premium content, shopping vouchers, smartphone offers, and a bunch of other deals from Airtel partners. To start things off, the company is giving away free Netflix and ZEE5 subscriptions, and much more.

Three months of free Netflix access for Infinity users

All customers using Airtel's Infinity Postpaid plans worth Rs. 499 or more will be getting three months of Netflix subscription valued at Rs. 1,500. The offer will be applicable for new as well as existing Netflix subscribers and could be activated from the #AirtelThanks section in Airtel TV or MyAirtel app. Notably, existing Netflix users will get credits in their accounts.

Free access to ZEE5 for prepaid, postpaid users

Along with Netflix, Airtel is also offering free access to all premium content - original shows and movies - available on ZEE5. The subscription is being offered to all Airtel postpaid and prepaid customers contributing an ARPU of Rs. 199 or more. It can also be activated via #AirtelThanks section in the AirtelTV app, just like Netflix.

Cashback data, data benefits on Flipkart-exclusive smartphones

Further, as part of Flipkart's Big Billion Day sale, Airtel is also offering cashback up to Rs. 4,500 and 100GB data to customers buying Flipkart-exclusive smartphones. Any prepaid customer with a monthly unlimited plan worth Rs. 199, Rs. 249 or Rs. 448 will be eligible. The cashback will be given in the form of 51 vouchers - 50 recharge vouchers worth Rs. 50 and one Rs. 2,000 MakeMyTrip voucher.

Data benefits to be added over 10 months

Also, the 100GB bonus data offered on Flipkart-exclusive smartphone purchases will be credited as 10GB add-on over a period of 10 months or first 10 recharges, whichever comes earlier according to the plan selected by the customer.

Benefits coming for V-Fiber users too

Airtel's rewards are currently exclusive to prepaid and postpaid users, but the company has said it will expand the offering to V-Fiber home broadband subscribers as well. The company has also said the higher value a customer commits, the more benefits they'll get, including access to red carpet customer care for service and network related issues.
