Ajanta Pharma Q1 profit up 31% as revenue rises 25%

Ajanta Pharma had a strong start to the year, with profit after tax rising 31% to ₹334 crore for April-June.

This boost came thanks to a 25% jump in revenue, reaching ₹1,626 crore compared to last year's ₹1,303 crore.

India branded ₹509cr, US generics ₹487cr

Sales of branded generics in India went up by 24%, hitting ₹509 crore, while US generics soared 57% to ₹487 crore.
