Google lays off over 100 employees in cloud design team

Google just let go of over 100 people from its cloud design and user experience research teams, mostly in the US. The move is all about shifting focus (and budget) to Artificial Intelligence projects.
Some impacted employees have until December to try for other roles within Google.
