Indian startups embrace AI integration: Meta report
A fresh report by Meta and Alvarez & Marsal shows that over 70% of Indian startups are now integrating AI across core business functions—think healthcare, edtech, and beauty brands making things faster and more personal with automation and smart analytics.
Blending online and offline experiences
About two-thirds of these startups are blending online discovery with offline shopping.
Most are eyeing growth in smaller cities by using local languages, WhatsApp, and regional influencers.
Service-based companies usually get there first.
Many are going abroad; AI helping with marketing
More than half of the startups surveyed are expanding abroad (mostly to the US, UAE, or UK) as demand for Indian products grows.
Plus, AI is helping them market better: 87% saw a big drop in customer acquisition costs—about 30% lower—thanks to smarter targeting.
