IndiGo begins direct UK flights, debuts long-haul service

IndiGo just launched its first-ever long-haul route, connecting Mumbai and Manchester three times a week.
The flights use Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners (leased from Norse Atlantic Airways), and travelers get complimentary hot meals from Indian brands plus access to 300 hours of entertainment on their seatback screens.

Flight schedule and seat configuration

Flights leave Mumbai at 4:15am every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, landing in Manchester by 9:15am local time.
The return flight leaves Manchester at noon and arrives in Mumbai the next day.
Each plane offers 56 extra-legroom IndiGoStretch seats and 282 Economy seats—all with personal entertainment screens.

IndiGo's plan to add more international destinations

This new route is part of IndiGo's bigger push to add 10 more international destinations this year, including London and Amsterdam.
With over 2,300 daily flights already and a fleet topping 430 aircraft, IndiGo is aiming to make international travel even more accessible for Indian flyers.
