
Kotak Mahindra's average total deposits jump 14.4% to ₹5.1L crore

Kotak Mahindra Bank has announced its provisional financial results for the second quarter ended September 30. The bank witnessed a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 14.4% in average total deposits, which stood at ₹5,10,138 crore. This is a significant increase from the average total deposits of ₹4,46,110 crore recorded during the same period last year.

On a sequential basis, Kotak Mahindra Bank's average total deposits rose by 3.7% from ₹4,91,998 crore in the June quarter of 2025. The bank's average net advances for the September quarter stood at ₹4,47,809 crore. This is a significant increase from ₹3,90,590 crore recorded during the same period last year.

Net advances and CASA balances at period end
As of September 30, 2025, net advances stood at ₹4,62,552 crore, an increase of 15.8% over the ₹3,99,522 crore recorded on September 30 last year. Current Account and Savings Account (CASA) balances at period end were reported at ₹2,23,791 crore as of September 30. This is an increase of 11.2% over the same period last year when it was ₹2,01,275 crore.

Total deposits at the end of this quarter
The average CASA deposits during the September quarter stood at ₹1,98,250 crore, up 6.2% from ₹1,86,676 crore a year ago. The total deposits at the end of this quarter stood at ₹5,28,776 crore, a 14.6% increase compared to ₹4,61,454 crore as of September 30 last year. Compared to the June quarter-end figure of ₹5,12,838 crore this reflects a quarter-on-quarter growth of 3.1%.
