Teachmint's revenue jumps 4.3x as AI tools become top moneymaker

Business

Teachmint, a Bengaluru-based classroom tech company, just had a massive jump in revenue—up 4.3 times to ₹74 crore in FY25.
This boost comes from schools snapping up their new AI-powered classroom gadgets, plus some smart cost-cutting that helped shrink their annual losses by more than half.

Hardware-software bundles are the main money-maker now

What changed? Teachmint rolled out hardware-software bundles like their Android 14-based X2 panel with a built-in Neural Processing Unit.
These became a hit, making these AI tools their main money-maker this year.

Teachmint's biggest spend is on procurement

Teachmint also tightened spending, cutting employee costs by over half and keeping expenses in check, which helped reduce losses to ₹46.6 crore.
Their biggest spend was on procurement, but teaming up with major IT distributor Rashi Peripherals is helping them get their smart classroom tech into even more schools.
