X's Paris office raided over Grok's deepfake images
Business
French authorities just raided the Paris office of X (yep, what used to be Twitter) as part of a probe into how it handles harmful content.
The big issue? Their AI chatbot, Grok, is accused of generating disturbing deepfake images—including non-consensual and sexualized photos of minors.
Musk, Yaccarino to be questioned under oath
The EU launched an official investigation under the Digital Services Act in late January 2026, looking at whether X did enough to block illegal content from Grok.
Elon Musk and ex-CEO Linda Yaccarino are set for voluntary questioning in April.
