UPSC CSE 2025 results out: Anuj Agnihotri secures AIR 1
What's the story
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Final Result 2025. As per the result, Anuj Agnihotri has secured the AIR 1 rank in this year's exam. Rajeshwari Suve M bagged the second rank, while Akansh Dhull bagged the third. The fourth and fifth ranks went to Raghav Jhunjhunwala and Ishan Bhatnagar, respectively.

958 candidates have qualified
Rank 6th went to Zinnia Aurora, AIR 7 - A R Rajah Mohaideen, AIR 8 - Pakshal Secretry, AIR 9 - Astha Jain and AIR 10 - Ujjwal Priyank. A total of 958 candidates have qualified for various services, including IAS, IFS and IPS. Candidates who took the test can check and get the roll number-wise result from the official website, upsc.gov.in or upsconline.gov.in.

Exam conducted in 3 stages
The UPSC CSE is conducted in three stages: Preliminary, Main and Personality Test (Interview). The written examination was held in August 2025, followed by personality tests from December 2025 to February 2026. The final merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in both the Main Examination and the Personality Test.
Allocation
Marks will be available within 15 days
Now that the results are declared, the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) will begin cadre allocation and appointment formalities. "Marks will be available on the website within 15 days from the date of declaration of result," UPSC said in a statement. The commission has also withheld results for two candidates and kept the results of 348 recommended candidates provisional.
