Akshay Kumar suggests redesigning Maharashtra cops' shoes at FICCI Frames

Entertainment

At the 25th edition of FICCI Frames, Akshay Kumar pointed out that Maharashtra Police officers wear shoes with heels, making it tough for them to run and causing posture issues.
"If possible, their shoes should be redesigned to be more athletic and comfortable," he suggested.

CM acknowledged the issue, asked Kumar to help design footwear

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis acknowledged Akshay's point, admitting that no one had raised this issue before.
He welcomed Akshay's idea and even asked him to help design better footwear.
The conversation stayed friendly, with Akshay jokingly asking how the CM eats Nagpur oranges—Fadnavis said he slices and salts them.
