Did you know Akshaye Khanna improvised 'Dhurandhar's viral entry dance?
What's the story
Akshaye Khanna's entry scene in Dhurandhar, featuring the song Fa9la by Flipperachi, has taken social media by storm. Now, Danish Pandor, who plays Khanna's cousin in the film, has revealed that the actor improvised his dance moves during this scene. Speaking to Filmygyan, Pandor confirmed that these spontaneous steps were not part of the original choreography.
Pandor's revelation
'He just started dancing on his own'
Pandor shared, "We shot this in Leh Ladakh, and Vijay Ganguly was choreographing the whole song. We all heard the track and were stunned by how amazing it was." "In the middle of that, Akshaye sir asked Aditya [Dhar], 'Can I dance?' Aditya sir said, 'Do whatever you like.' Then there's a take, and he starts dancing on his own. There's no choreography for him."
Pandor's praise
'People started applauding so much after the shot'
Pandor further praised Khanna's talent, saying, "Everyone was stunned, like kya kar diya yeh inhone (what has he done). People started applauding so much after the shot." "The frames were looking so good. He did it all on his own. He is terrific." The scene features Khanna as Rehman Dakait meeting his Balochi people for a deal with ISIS.
