    What's the story

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt might have stated that they aren't planning to get married anytime soon, but rumors about their wedding continue to be abuzz.

In fact, as per recent media reports, Ranbir and Alia's respective families are all set to finalize a date for the couple's D-Day.

Reportedly, Bhatts and Kapoors will also be meeting a pandit next month for the same.

    Why rumors

Rishi Kapoor to return to India this month end

Rumors of Ranbir-Alia's finalizing their wedding date surfaced after it was reported that Rishi Kapoor will be returning to India by March end.

Notably, Rishi has been in New York since August 2018 for medical treatment of an undisclosed illness.

According to media reports, the veteran actor has been recovering well.

In fact, his wife Neetu also dropped hints about Rishi's return.

    Rumors

Ranbir-Alia's wedding to be Rishi's top priority post return

The reports further suggested that post his return, Ranbir and Alia's wedding will top Rishi's priority list.

"Bhatts and Kapoors will meet a pandit together to zero down on some auspicious dates for the shaadi and one of those dates will be finalized. Fair enough, considering that Rishi is returning from the US, post his treatment, only in March-end," a source reportedly told Spotboye.
