Arjun's post on mother's death anniversary will leave you teary-eyed
Losing a mother is certainly the most tragic thing in anyone's life and so has been the case for Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor. Not a moment passes by when the Gunday actor doesn't miss his mother Mona Kapoor. On her seventh death anniversary on March 25, Arjun got emotional and penned a heart-wrenching note on social media, which left everyone teary-eyed. Here's more.
Arjun shared a throwback picture of himself with his mother on Instagram. In the picture, a young Arjun is seen enjoying some precious moments with Mona. The actor captioned, "You were my smile & I hope wherever you are I make you smile still. It's been 7 years since you left us & all your son is asking you is come back na, please."
Meanwhile, Arjun's sister Anshula also wrote a moving note for her mother, along with a throwback picture of herself. She wrote, "Time changes nothing. Love you & miss you everyday Ma. 7 years since we've felt your hugs, heard you laugh or held your hand. Already feels like eternity, but gotta keep on keepin' on, gotta make you proud every day."
For the uninitiated, Mona died in March 2012, after a prolonged battle with cancer. It was reported that she passed away due to multiple organ failure during her medical treatment in Mumbai's Hinduja hospital. Notably, Arjun lost his mother just two months before he made his big Bollywood debut with 2012 release Ishaqzaade opposite Parineeti Chopra. Undoubtedly, it was a difficult phase for Arjun.
On the work front, Arjun is ecstatic about working on Ashutosh Gowariker's upcoming war-drama, Panipat. In fact, he has already finished shooting 60% of the movie and is looking forward to wrapping it up. Interestingly, Arjun had been quite particular about hiding his look from the movie. Talking about it, the 33-year-old said that Ashutosh doesn't want to diminish the impact of his look.
