Netflix is preparing for the premiere of its new series, Show Business (working title), headlined by Korean stars Song Hye-kyo and Gong Yoo. The K-drama series will explore the turbulent world of the Korean entertainment industry during the 1960s and 1980s. Other notable cast members include Kim Seol-hyun, Cha Seung-won, and Lee Hanee.

Song and Gong's characters in 'Show Business' revealed
In Show Business, Song will play Min-ja, a strong woman molded by a difficult childhood who sees hope in the Korean music industry. Gong will play Dong-gu, Min-ja's childhood friend who joins the music industry with her. Despite being reckless, Dong-gu has a soft corner for Min-ja and is always willing to lend an ear to her.
