Blake Lively's lawsuit against Jed Wallace dismissed

Entertainment

Blake Lively took Texas publicist Jed Wallace to court, claiming he tried to ruin her reputation online before her movie "It Ends With Us" hit theaters.
She said Wallace was working for Justin Baldoni's PR team to spread false stories about her.
But on July 16, 2025, a judge dismissed the case because the court didn't have authority over Wallace.

'Case couldn't continue there'

The judge found that most of Wallace's alleged actions happened outside New York, so the case couldn't continue there.
The dismissal is "without prejudice," which means Lively can try again in another state by July 31.
Meanwhile, Lively will still give a deposition under legal protection, and countersuits from Baldoni against her and her husband have also been dropped.
The trial for related cases is set for March 2026 in New York, with both actors expected to testify.
