Bobby Darling divorce case: Husband questions validity of marriage

Bollywood actor Bobby Darling aka Pakhi Sharma, who had filed for divorce in 2017, landed in fresh trouble after her husband called their marriage invalid. According to media reports, Bobby's husband Ramneek Sharma stated that their marriage isn't valid as per the Hindu Marriage Act (HMA). Notably, Bobby had filed for divorce on grounds of cruelty after which Ramneek was arrested in May 2018.

She had also filed a domestic violence complaint against him, and alleged that he had manhandled his brother and mother as well. "Ramneek would beat me after getting drunk and accuse me of having extramarital affairs with other men. He also usurped my property and money," she added.

Bobby further claimed that Ramneek holds a criminal record, which she wasn't aware of at the time of their marriage. "I've faced a lot of domestic violence. Bobby, born Pankaj Sharma, underwent sex change operation in 2015, and married Ramneek in 2016.
