Box office: 'Masti 4' opens slow; collects ₹2.50cr on Day 1
Entertainment
Masti 4, starring Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, and Aftab Shivdasani, didn't exactly light up the box office on its first day—pulling in just ₹2.50 crore on Friday, November 21.
The comedy sequel struggled with low advance bookings and is now counting on weekend buzz and last-minute moviegoers to pick things up.
How other films are doing
Even with its slow start, Masti 4 managed to edge out Farhan Akhtar's 120 Bahadur, which opened at ₹2.35 crore.
Both films are hoping word-of-mouth will help over the weekend.
Meanwhile, De De Pyaar De 2 (with Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and R Madhavan) is quietly holding strong in its second week, earning ₹2.25 crore on Friday—showing that steady interest can sometimes beat flashy debuts.
