Box office: 'Mirai' heads toward record-breaking opening day

Teja Sajja's latest film, Mirai, is on track to break his own HanuMan premiere day record in North America—already pulling in over $367K just from its first shows.
With strong advance bookings and a lot of buzz online, Mirai looks set to become Sajja's biggest opener yet.

Back home, Mirai crossed ₹1 crore at the Indian box office by 10am on Friday. The film blends Indian mythology with superhero action, starring Sajja alongside Ritika Nayak and Manoj Kumar Manchu.
In the US, advance sales have already topped $125K and could push total earnings past $1 million this weekend.
Up next for Sajja: he will appear in the sequel to HanuMan, where he will share screen space with Rishabh Shetty.
