'Gustaakh Ishq' gets U/A 13+ certificate; here's what was changed
What's the story
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) recently cleared the Hindi film Gustaakh Ishq with a U/A 13+ certificate. However, some changes were made to the film before it received clearance. The CBFC's Examining Committee asked for certain modifications in dialogues and subtitles, reported Bollywood Hungama.
Changes made
CBFC suggested dialogue modifications
The Examining Committee suggested replacing the word "harami" with "kameena" and "kameeni" in Gustaakh Ishq. They also recommended changing the word "sex" to "aiyaashi" and "the art of lovemaking." Notably, no visual cuts were requested by CBFC as they deemed it unnecessary for this family entertainer, which lacks explicit sexual content or violence.
