Yash Raj Films (YRF) has partnered with Netflix to bring its extensive catalog of Bollywood classics to the global streaming platform. The collaboration will see YRF titles released in phases, allowing fans worldwide to enjoy iconic Hindi films from the comfort of their homes. The rollout started on Saturday with nine Shah Rukh Khan films.

Initial releases

'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,' 'Chak De...' hit Netflix

The first batch of films includes some of Khan's most iconic YRF movies, such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Mohabbatein, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Veer Zaara, and Chak De India! War and War 2 have also started streaming. On November 14, classic titles like Sridevi's Chandni and Lamhe, Amitabh Bachchan's Kabhi Kabhie and Silsila, and Anil Kapoor's Vijay will be released.

Holiday season will see a release every day!

The holiday season will see a release every day with 34 films, including Bunty Aur Babli, Hum Tum, Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, Mujhse Dosti Karoge, and Ta Ra Rum Pum. Three of Salman Khan's biggest hits, Ek Tha Tiger, Sultan, and Tiger Zinda Hai, will stream on December 27 to celebrate the actor's birthday.

Partnership continues into 2026 with romantic titles, popular franchises

The partnership will continue into 2026 with a collection of eight romantic titles (Saathiya, Ishaqzaade, etc) launching on February 7 for Valentine's week. Popular franchises like the Dhoom trilogy and Rani Mukerji's Mardaani series will also be part of this deal. Monika Shergill, VP of India Content at Netflix, said this partnership "marks a milestone for Indian cinema on Netflix" and deepens their commitment to championing Indian storytelling.
