Delhi HC upholds ED case against Jacqueline Fernandez
The Delhi High Court has turned down Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez's request to drop charges against her in a ₹200 crore money laundering case.
The case centers on alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who reportedly posed as a government official and scammed Aditi Singh, wife of ex-Religare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh, by promising bail for her husband.

Justice Anish Dayal simply said, "The petition is dismissed."
Jacqueline claimed she was just caught up in the mess and only knew about Sukesh's criminal past from the news.
But the Enforcement Directorate (ED) argued their investigation is separate from another police probe—and that being a witness elsewhere doesn't let her off here.
Jacqueline got bail back in 2022 after posting bonds; now, both investigations are still ongoing while everyone waits for the detailed court judgment.
