Diddy sentenced to 4 years in prison for sex crimes
Sean "Diddy" Combs, the well-known music mogul, has been sentenced to just over four years in prison after being found guilty of transporting sex workers and former girlfriends across state lines for paid services.
While he was cleared of more serious sex trafficking charges, the judge granted him credit for the 13 months he had already spent behind bars.
After his release, Diddy will also be under supervised watch for five more years.
Combs's financial and reputational downfall
Combs now faces about 50 civil lawsuits accusing him of sexual misconduct, putting both his finances and reputation at risk.
His $1 billion business empire—spanning music, fashion, and alcohol—has suffered too: major partnerships have ended, stores dropped his Sean John brand, and he stepped down from Revolt Media.
In court documents, Diddy admitted that his actions have wrecked his career and reputation.
