Diljit Dosanjh quashes Border 2 exit speculation amid controversy

Diljit Dosanjh is officially sticking with Border 2, even as some groups called for a boycott after his recent film with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir.
Rumors that he'd be replaced were put to rest when Diljit posted a behind-the-scenes video from the set, making it clear he's not going anywhere.

Diljit was cast nine months ago, and with almost half the movie already shot, swapping him out isn't really an option.
Border 2—directed by Anurag Singh—also features Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, and Sonam Bajwa.
After Diljit's video dropped, fans jumped in with loads of supportive comments.
The film is set to hit theaters on January 23 next year and continues the story from the iconic 1997 war drama Border.
