Eijaz Khan is a television and film actor from Hyderabad. Backup dancer, model, actor...Khan has played various kinds of roles on screen. Born on August 28, 1975, Khan grew up in Mumbai after his parents were separated. He lived with his brother and father in Mumbai, while his sister lived with his mother in Hyderabad. Khan did his schooling at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School, Mumbai. He then graduated from Datta Megha College of Engineering, Mumbai, with B.Tech in Civil Engineering. After graduation, he began his career as a background dancer. He made his debut in Kamal Hasan’s ‘Chachi 420’ in 1997. In 1998, he made his debut as an actor in the TV serial ‘CID.’ He made his feature film debut in the 1999 film ‘Takshak’ by appearing in a guest role. His role in ‘Maine Dil Tujhko Diya’ gave him an impetus to his career. His first major role was in the TV series ‘Kkoi Dil Mein Hai.’ The role that made Khan’s career was Dr. Kkavya Nanda in the series ‘Kkavyanjali.’ His chemistry with his co-star Anita Hassanandani was the talk of the town. They won the Star Parivaar Award for Favorite Yogya Jodi in 2005. Khan was a participant in season 14 of the television reality show ‘Big Boss.’ He walked out of the show due to professional commitments. In 2014, he won the Garv Indian TV award for Jodi of the Decade along with Anita Hassanandani.
