After ending its first week with a worldwide gross of ₹319cr, Dhurandhar witnessed a surge in its second weekend. It easily surpassed the ₹400cr and ₹500cr marks. By Day 12, the film has grossed an impressive ₹639cr worldwide, making it the third-highest-grossing Indian film of 2025. The only two films ahead are Kantara: Chapter One (₹851cr) and Chhaava (₹808cr).

In terms of profitability, Dhurandhar has already done well with India net earnings close to ₹500cr. The film's landing cost is around ₹140cr, meaning it has already earned a profit of 250-260%. However, both Chhaava and Kantara Chapter One are currently ahead in this respect. Chhaava had estimated net earnings of ₹650cr on a ₹125cr budget (420% profit), while Kantara Chapter One netted ₹680cr on a ₹150cr budget (350% profit).
Future projections
'Dhurandhar' may become biggest hit among major releases
As per Hindustan Times, Dhurandhar would need net earnings of over ₹725cr, which corresponds to a worldwide gross of over ₹950cr, to beat Chhaava. It could exceed this mark and even touch the ₹1000cr milestone. If this happens, it will become the biggest hit of 2025 among major releases. However, it won't be able to beat Laalo - Krishna Sada Sahaayte, which was made on a budget of just ₹50L and grossed an astonishing ₹111cr with net earnings over ₹85cr.
