It's Janmashtami today and the entire country is immersed in the celebration, including Bollywood celebrities. Several videos of stars celebrating the festival have surfaced on the internet since morning. Amid this, superstar Shah Rukh Khan's video of celebrating Janmashtami at his residence has gone viral on social media. In the video, SRK is seen breaking the dahi-handi while sitting on his security guard's shoulders.
Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who is making a comeback on the big screen with Nikamma, also celebrated the birth of Lord Krishna with a lot of fervor and gaiety. The actress shared a video of her seven-year-old son Viaan on Instagram breaking the dahi-handi. Meanwhile, Raveena Tandon's 14-year-old daughter Rasha became Radha for the celebrations. The Andaz Apna Apna actress shared glimpses of the celebrations on Instagram, wherein her daughter was seen breaking the handi along with her friends. Rasha looked gleeful as she collected the gifts she received after smashing the pot. "My little #Radhe, breaking the handi and collecting her goodies," Raveena wrote in the caption.
Notably, Ayushmann Khurrana also shared a picture of himself dressed as Lord Krishna on Instagram as he wished his fans. The still was from the song Radhe Radhe from his upcoming movie Dream Girl. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the movie is being bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor and also stars Nushrat Bharucha in lead. Dream Girl is slated to release on September 13.
