Hyderabad Police nab 'Ibomma' Ravi in ₹20cr movie piracy case

Hyderabad Police have arrested Immadi Ravi, better known as Ibomma Ravi, for running a massive ₹20 crore movie piracy operation.
Officers tracked his phone and movements before catching him in Kukatpally.
Even though the main ibomma sites are down, new mirror sites keep popping up—but police say they can take action if people report them.

How the bust went down

Ravi was found with hard drives holding about 21,000 pirated films, and authorities froze ₹3.5 crore from his accounts.
He's now in custody and reportedly cooperating with investigators to help map out the wider piracy network and trace where all the money came from.
