Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia's fantasy film The Vvaan is now set for a September 25, 2026 release, pushed back from May due to major reshoots and re-editing.
Sidharth Malhotra is said to be keen on reworking the action sequences along with the film's climax.
Producers Kapoor and Kothari steer reshoots
Producers Ektaa Kapoor and Niraj Kothari are steering these changes, with Sidharth himself asking for 17 extra shoot days.
The original director Deepak Mishra and collaborator TVF have apparently been removed from the project, so there's a new creative team in charge.
The story follows a rational urban man who defies his ancestral village's forbidden forest, awakening a goddess and facing supernatural challenges.
After theaters, you'll be able to catch The Vvaan on Amazon Prime Video.
