'Suicide Squad' actress Margot Robbie is in talks with Warner Bros. to star in an upcoming Barbie movie.
If negotiations are successful, Robbie will also be producing the film through her LuckyChap banner.
The Barbie feature film could signal the start of another successful franchise for the actress who plays Harley Quinn in DC's movie franchise.

Notably, Amy Schumer was cast in 2015. The film promised to explore feminism, gender identity and be an adult comedy.
When Schumer left, citing 'scheduling conflicts', Anne Hathaway was supposed to step in.
However, when Sony pushed back the release from August 2018 to May 2020, Mattel made a new deal with Warner Bros.
