What's the story

Meenaakshi Chaudhary, known for her roles in popular South Indian films like Lucky Baskhar and Guntur Kaaram, has confirmed her Bollywood debut with Bhagam Bhag 2. In an interview with Variety India, she revealed that the project came at a time when she was looking for scripts that families would enjoy. "I feel like it came at a time when I was looking for something exactly like this," she said.

Role excitement

Film will be a family entertainer, says Chaudhary

Chaudhary expressed her excitement about being a part of Bhagam Bhag 2, saying it felt like "pure laughter." She believes the storyline and character will resonate with audiences regardless of their age or language. "You are going to enjoy it regardless of the language you watch it in," she added. The film also stars Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Manoj Bajpayee, and Ayesha Khan.

Learning from Kumar

On learning from Kumar

Chaudhary also spoke about her plans to match Kumar's comic timing. She said she would approach the set as a learner, much like a student around a guru. She said she was going to be the "biggest student on set," like chelas around a guru, just absorbing everything she could from him. "He knows exactly what he is doing, and seeing that up close is honestly a blessing for any actor." The film is written and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa.
