Tanushree Dutta and Nana Patekar's controversy is taking new turns everyday. After hearing Tanushree's story, all eyes were on Nana who was suppose to address the controversy today in a press conference. But looks like the veteran actor has changed his mind. Nana, who is yet to bring his side of the story in the light, has canceled his 'much-awaited' press conference.
Nana, Ganesh Acharya yet to present their story
Tanushree had accused Nana of sexual misconduct on the sets of 'Horn OK Pleasss' in 2008. While the allegations had left the nation aghast, Nana had vehemently dismissed them. He also assured to answer all the questions in the press meet. Choreographer Ganesh Acharya was also expected to join him in the press meet, which was canceled by Nana last evening.
Is Nana scared to face the questions?
Nana's decision to cancel the press conference has invited him a lot of criticism. He has been under media scrutiny ever since Tanushree levelled the sexual misconduct allegations against him. It is reported that he chose to avoid media interaction after Tanushree filed a police complaint against him. We wonder if he is scared to face the media trial now.
Tanushree filed the police complaint after receiving legal notice
Notably, it's been a while when Nana slapped Tanushree with a legal notice demanding apology over the controversy. While the actress termed it as a price of speaking up, she also registered a complaint against Nana Patekar in Mumbai's Oshiwara police station on Saturday. She further stated that she is adamant to fight for justice and will not be bullied by power this time.
