'Narivetta' explores the Muthanga protests in Kerala

Set during the real-life 2003 Muthanga protests in Kerala, Narivetta follows police constable Peter Varghese as he faces tough choices between his duty and standing up for tribal communities fighting for promised land.
The cast features Suraj Venjaramoodu, Cheran (making his Malayalam debut), and Priyamvada Krishnan.

Anuraj Manohar directed the film

Directed by Anuraj Manohar with music by Jakes Bejoy, the film also includes the viral track Minnalvala, written by veteran lyricist Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri.
