Veteran actor Neena Gupta has praised contemporary actors Deepika Padukone, Kiara Advani, and Kareena Kapoor Khan for defying ageism and patriarchy in Bollywood. In a recent interview with Zoom, she lauded these stars for continuing their careers post-marriage and motherhood. "I am very proud of Kareena and Deepika. She (Padukone) is working and having a second child," said Gupta.
