New live-action 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' movie series in the works

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are getting a fresh start!
Under Skydance's takeover of Paramount, a new live-action movie series is in development, with Neal H. Moritz (of Sonic the Hedgehog fame) in talks to produce.
This reboot will be family-friendly and won't interfere with the animated Turtles film planned for 2027.

What's different this time?

Paramount wants to capture the fun of the original 1990s Turtles, hoping to connect with both old fans and new viewers.
The R-rated Last Ronin project is on pause for now.
Meanwhile, Paramount is also moving ahead with a sequel to Mutant Mayhem and has a short film hitting theaters next month—so there's plenty of Turtle action coming soon!
