Tatsuya Nakadai, one of Japan's most iconic actors, has passed away at 92.
Known for his intense roles in over 150 films—including classics like The Human Condition and Ran—he worked with legendary directors such as Akira Kurosawa.
Even off-screen, he left his mark by co-founding the Mumeijuku acting school with his wife Yasuko Miyazaki in 1975.
He is survived by his daughter, Nao.
