Parineeti Chopra opens up on Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas' rumored divorce

However, their fans got the biggest shock recently after it was reported that they are heading for a divorce. Now, Priyanka's cousin Parineeti Chopra has officially shunned the reports, and called the article by the US-based magazine as "terrible."

Notably, the divorce reports first surfaced after the US edition of OK! magazine claimed that the couple was facing trouble in their marriage. "They have been fighting about everything: work, partying, spending time together. The bottom line is that Nick and Priyanka rushed into things and now they are paying the price. Their marriage is hanging by a thread," the tabloid quoted a source.
Are Priyanka, Nick planning to sue the magazine?
Undoubtedly, Priyanka is miffed with her divorce rumors doing the rounds. In fact, Priyanka and Nick are planning to take legal action against the magazine, said reports. "Once she makes up her mind to deal with negative rumor-mongering, nothing can stop her. Priyanka will let loose her legal team on this news-manufacturing tabloid and ensure they get to their knees," a source stated.
'All I'll say is that it was a terrible article'
Meanwhile, Priyanka's spokesperson also rubbished the divorce reports, following which the publication pulled down the article. Parineeti also jumped in and slammed the magazine, calling the article "terrible." "All I will say is that it was a terrible article. But whatever my reaction was remained between us [family]. I don't need to say it as it's not for public consumption," Parineeti told Hindustan Times.

Furthermore, Parineeti was all praises for Nick for giving them beautiful memories during the wedding ceremonies. "We were supposed to take Nick by surprise but he was the one who surprised us. He was fully prepared for everything. He gave gifts to each and every one. I don't want to talk about the gifts but Nick gave all of us beautiful memories," she recalled.
For now, Parineeti is enjoying 'Kesari' success
On the work front, Parineeti is currently basking in the success of her last release Kesari, which has raked in a collection of Rs. 125 crore. Apart from this, the 30-year-old will be seen in Jabariya Jodi with Sidharth Malhotra and in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar opposite Arjun Kapoor. Also, she recently replaced Shraddha Kapoor in the upcoming biopic of badminton star Saina Nehwal.
