Despite setback, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule's release date remains unchanged
Despite recent speculations about the hurdles faced by the team of Pushpa 2: The Rule, the film seems to be on track for August 15 release. Starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, the movie is a sequel to Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1 (2021). Arjun to complete shooting for 'Pushpa 2' this month
Despite rumors of potential delays, the production of Pushpa 2: The Rule is progressing as planned. Another source told the portal, "Allu Arjun will complete shooting for the film this month, and by June, the rest of the shooting will be wrapped up. So there's no possibility of the film being delayed." However, when asked about changes in the editing crew, both sources remained silent, reported HT.
What is the recent setback faced by the film?
On Wednesday, a Peeping Moon report suggested that editor Antony Ruben has left due to scheduling conflicts, with Naveen Nooli potentially stepping in. Ruben has earlier been a part of projects such as Jawan, Mersal, Kanchana 3, Bigil, and also edited the first film in the Pushpa franchise. Nooli, on the other hand, is known for Tillu Square and Operation Valentine, among others.
'Pushpa 2' may clash with 'Singham Again'
Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar, is heading toward a clash with Rohit Shetty's Singham Again. However, for the past several weeks, there have been very few updates about the latter and no teaser/song has been released so far, so it may likely get postponed. It stars Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff.
