'Double iSmart' teaser set for release on Ram Pothineni's birthday
What's the story
The much-awaited pan-Indian film, Double iSmart, starring Ram Pothineni, is set to release its teaser on May 15. This date coincides with the actor's birthday. The announcement was made by the makers on Sunday. Directed by renowned Telugu filmmaker Puri Jagannadh, the movie is a sequel to the 2019 sci-fi thriller iSmart Shankar. The film was earlier slated to release in March, but is running behind schedule.

New poster revealed ahead of teaser release
Before the teaser's release, the makers revealed a new poster on social media. The poster features Pothineni in a dynamic avatar, sporting a face mask, tiger-striped shirt, and torn jeans. He is seen holding a cigarette in one hand and firecrackers in the other, suggesting high-octane action in the upcoming film. Pothineni's last film was Skanda in 2023, where he essayed double roles.

Star-Studded cast and crew for 'Double iSmart'
Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is confirmed to have a significant role in the film; earlier, the makes released a poster introducing his character, "Big Bull." Kavya Thapar, known for her role in Ravi Teja's Eagle, is reported to be Pothineni's love interest. The film reunites director Jagannadh with music composer Mani Sharma, while cinematography will be handled by Sam K Naidu and Gianni Gianneli.
