Santhy Balachandran on 'The Chronicles of...' role: 'Jumped at chance'
Santhy Balachandran is featured in her latest role as Kingini in The Chronicles of the 4.5 Gang, streaming on SonyLiv since August 28, 2025.
Even though Kingini doesn't get much screen time, Santhy said she jumped at the chance to work with director Krishand, stating, "I think he has a brilliant mind."

Santhy got creative with her character—she helped shape Kingini across three different ages and even suggested wearing braces for those authentic schoolgirl vibes (turns out, dental molds aren't cheap!).
She shared that despite having a small part, collaborating with Krishand was a big draw for her.
Other projects of the actor to watch out for
2025 has been a milestone year: she made her screenwriting debut with Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra (which dropped the same day as The Chronicles of the 4.5 Gang), and she's also appearing in Krishand's upcoming film Masthishka Maranam.
