Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has "1250 reasons to smile" these days, courtesy his new ride. The actor, who impressed us with his acting in Padmaavat and Udta Punjab, is all set for an adventurous ride on wheels. Recently, he bought himself a swanky BMW R 1250 GS Adventure. And guess what? It's worth the cost of a flat in the national capital.

Shahid's new ride has made a '#bikelover gone mad'

Shahid, who is a self-confessed bike lover, shared a picture with his stunning new beast, which is worth Rs. 18.25 lakh (approximately). The Haider actor captioned the image, "1250 reasons to smile. Thank you @BMWmotorrad @bmwmotorrad_in for the stunning gs1250 #bikelover gone mad". Notably, the BMW R1250 GS is powered by a 1254 cc engine that produces 138PS and 143Nm of torque.

Shahid's bike, G 310-R, is 'perfect hack for Mumbai traffic'

Shahid also posted a picture with another BMW motorcycle - the G 310 R on Instagram recently, and called it a "perfect hack" for Mumbai's infamous traffic. The actor wrote, "The perfect hack for Mumbai traffic right here! So agile and nimble. Was a super fun ride." We wonder if Shahid bought another BMW bike for himself or was it just a test drive.

Shahid owns several luxury bikes including Ducati Scrambler 1200

Interestingly, this isn't the first bike Shahid purchased for himself. The 38-year-old actor owns several other luxury bikes, including a Ducati Scrambler 1200, a Harley-Davidson Fatboy and a Yamaha MT 01. Reportedly, Shahid's Ducati Scrambler 1200 costs around Rs. 11.12 lakh in India.

On the work front, Shahid is busy shooting for his upcoming movie Kabir Singh, which is a remake of Telugu hit movie Arjun Reddy. Talking about the movie, the actor stated that it was quite stressful to make a remake and admitted that his role was challenging. "We are trying to make it as honest and as raw as it was," he added.
