Shilpa Shetty Kundra has joined the sets of her next, titled Sukhee. This update comes just days after she announced this venture. Sharing her excitement about this project on social media, the 46-year-old actor wrote, "A NEW FILM, a new character, a new journey: #SUKHEE...First shot done!" Along with this text, she posted a boomerang video, lasting six seconds, featuring her holding the clapboard.

What do we see in the video?
In the boomerang video, we see Shetty Kundra dressed in a peach-colored suit with white embroidery. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail. Minimal makeup, a simple bracelet, and a pair of earrings completed her look. Sukhee, touted to be a women-centric film, is being produced by Abundantia Entertainment and T-Series. Sonal Joshi is at the helm of this project.

The shooting of Sukhee is currently ongoing in Chandigarh. Its director, Joshi, has previously worked on films like Dhoom 3 and Jab Harry Met Sejal as an assistant director. To recall, on Tuesday, Shetty Kundra announced the film by writing, "Thodi bedhadak si hoon main, Meri zindagi hai khuli kitaab, Duniya besharam kehti hai toh kya, Kisi se kam nahin hain mere khwaab!"

As far as her upcoming films are concerned, Shetty Kundra, who last appeared in Disney+ Hotstar's Hungama 2, will be seen next in Nikamma. It also features Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia (in her debut). Directed by Sabbir Khan, the film has been produced by Shabbir Khan Films and Sony Pictures. The makers haven't announced the release date of this action romantic comedy yet.

Besides films, Shetty Kundra also will be the host of Shape of You. A wellness-themed chat show, it is being produced by entertainment company Mirchi and will have her celebrity guests talking about mental and physical fitness. This is her third show as a host. It starts streaming on Mirchi's YouTube channel from this month, said reports. The exact date is not known yet.
