The movie kicked off strong with a ₹24cr opening on Diwali, quickly hitting the ₹100cr milestone within its extended 10-day first week—outperforming several of Ayushmann's previous hits, including 'Bala,' and showing his solid fan following.

Steady run despite competition—and what's next

Even with new films like Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat releasing, Thamma held steady, adding nearly ₹19cr in week two and keeping up momentum into its third and fourth weeks. The film's mix of humor and horror clearly clicked with audiences.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann is already back to work, starting his next project with director Sooraj Barjatya in Mumbai.
