The much-anticipated docu-series, The Roshans, is slated for a Netflix premiere in December, reported Mid-Day. Directed by Shashi Ranjan, the series explores the lives of the late composer Roshan and his family members - filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, composer Rajesh Roshan, and actor Hrithik Roshan. While the exact release date remains unconfirmed, sources indicate it may align with Hrithik's 25th acting anniversary and 51st birthday in January.

The Roshans will include insights from family members, fraternity friends, and colleagues such as Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Sham Kaushal. The series is anticipated to offer a close-up view of the lives of the esteemed Roshan family. The release timing holds significance as it also coincides with the 30th anniversary of Rakesh's blockbuster film Karan Arjun.

To provide a comprehensive view of the Roshans's journey, director Ranjan interviewed not only the family members but also their close collaborators and friends. These include veteran actors like Jeetendra and Rekha who worked with the Roshans in their early days. The docu-series will delve into Hrithik's rise to stardom starting with his debut film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000). It will also explore personal struggles such as Rakesh's battle with throat cancer.
