Vedang Raina says working with Imtiaz Ali is a "dream come true"
Vedang Raina is on cloud nine as he films an untitled romantic drama with director Imtiaz Ali.
Set during the 1940s partition, the movie also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari Wagh, and Banita Sandhu.
Sharing his excitement, Raina said, "We are in prep mode and every day that I spend with Imtiaz Ali, I realize that I am working with a genius and I am grateful for it."
He's also looking forward to teaming up with Dosanjh.
What's the film about?
The story explores love and longing across time and space, backed by music from A.R. Rahman and lyrics by Irshad Kamil.
Produced by Applause Entertainment, Mohit Choudhary, and Reliance Entertainment, under Window Seat Films, filming is set to begin in August 2025, aiming for a Baisakhi 2026 release.
This is Raina's next film after his debut in The Archies.
